Overview

What fiberglass installation for balconies & decks actually involves

An elevated balcony or deck is only as good as the membrane under your feet. We install complete fiberglass systems over plywood, concrete, and existing structural decks — building the slope, the drain tie-ins, and the wall terminations as one bonded unit. Because the laminate is formed in place rather than assembled from pieces, there are no seams to split and no flashing to lift. For second-floor balconies over living space, that difference is the whole ballgame: what we install is the roof of the room below.

This is a good fit for homeowners, condo boards, and property managers who want the leak stopped properly rather than postponed. We handle the assessment, the substrate work, the lamination, and the cleanup, and we walk the finished surface with you before we call the job done.

What's Included

Every project covers the essentials

  • Complete systems over plywood, concrete, and structural decks
  • Built-in slope correction so water moves to the drain, not the door
  • Sealed terminations at walls, posts, thresholds, and scuppers
  • Integrated drain and scupper tie-ins with no lift-prone flashing
  • Non-skid finish rated for bare feet and pool traffic
  • Color-matched top coat to complement your exterior
Our Process

Four steps from first call to final walkthrough

01

Site Measure

We measure the deck, map drainage, and check the structure below for any water damage that has to be addressed first.

02

Deck Preparation

Damaged sheathing is replaced, slope is corrected, and the entire field is fastened and cleaned to a lamination-ready surface.

03

Fiberglass Build-Up

We laminate the field and all vertical terminations, tying drains and scuppers into the membrane so the system drains as one piece.

04

Finish & Walkthrough

Top coat and non-skid go down, the site is cleaned, and we walk the finished deck with you before we call it done.

Why It Matters

The difference a careful job makes

Small choices in prep, materials, and finish work add up to a result that looks better and lasts longer.

No Seams to Fail

A laminate cured in place is one continuous membrane. Nothing is joined, so there is no joint for water to find.

Structural, Not Cosmetic

Fiberglass has real tensile strength. It bridges minor substrate movement instead of telegraphing every crack.

UV & Salt Resistant

Top coats specified for Gulf Coast exposure hold their colour and gloss where ordinary coatings chalk out.

Re-Coat, Don't Rebuild

When the finish eventually dulls, the wear layer is renewed. The system underneath stays exactly where it is.

Our Standard

Detail-driven from start to finish

Premium results come from disciplined habits — not shortcuts. Here's the standard we hold ourselves to on every project.

Substrate Verified First

We sound the deck and check moisture before quoting. A laminate over a failing substrate is money wasted.

Ground Back to Sound

Old coatings come off, fasteners are set below the surface, and slope is corrected before any resin is mixed.

Rolled Void-Free

Every pass is rolled out so no air is trapped in the laminate. Voids are where delamination starts.

Terminations Sealed

Walls, posts, thresholds, drains and scuppers are carried into the membrane, not flashed over afterwards.

Written Scope Up Front

You get the scope, the schedule, and a realistic cure window before we start — not after.
